The Racquetball Community
With a little help from Ektelon you've got a great
racquet to play with. You've also acquired a pair of safety
glasses, even if it did take you almost forever to decide between

You have some shorts and a favorite T-shirt, as well as a good pair of
sneakers and a pair or two of not-too-worn-out

day that passes, due mainly to your enthusiasm for your newly found sport,

of the Game," have had a lesson or two, and you've played some
exciting games. You've made it. You've learned what you needed to in order
to be a racquetball player. And like every other racquetball player, you're
anxious to play.

not everything in racquetball revolves around playing.
Not unlike other sports, racquetball consists of people, most of whom
all become familiar faces. Wherever racquetball is played, there
is a certain camaraderie found among racquetball players. It
is this commonality of people who come together and play the sport that

are young and old, men and women, amateurs and Pros. Within this mix,
friendships are made, even marriages happen.
The racquetball community is a large group of good people who come from
many walks of life, but all of whom have similar interests and at least
one activity shared by all - playing racquetball!

Racquetball players traveling on business oftentimes call ahead to clubs

on vacation oftentimes call ahead too and see if there are other players
to have fun with on the court. In racquetball, there can never be enough
familiar faces. And it goes without saying that State, Regional and National
